Ethan turned 3 weeks old yesterday and is doing great. Last weigh in (4-3-08) he was 6lbs and had grown to 20 1/2 inches. He is getting stronger, and bigger everyday.

Our daily activity continues to be feeding and napping, as that seems to be the best for us both right now. Ethan is on car seat restriction, meaning that someone has to sit in the backseat with him to help monitor him due to him being slightly too small. The doctor thinks that this will only last for another couple of weeks. We have weekly appts with his pediatrician, Dr. Erika Meyer (we really like her) to get weighed and measured. Therefore the two of us are happy to hang around the house and grow....well hopefully not the both of us! We are looking forward to the weather warming up so that we can start taking walks together.

Ethan is doing great with feedings, we still wake him every 3 hrs during the day to nurse. However at night he sets his own schedule, and as of now it's about every 3 hrs as well. We still supplement with a small bottle at night due to him being too tired to get enough milk by simply nursing......and mom not wanting to nurse for one and half hours at 3 am!!

We have our pediatrician appt. on Thurs this week as well as his circumcision appt. (He was too early to do it at the hospital) So I will let you know how it all goes! Hope this finds everyone doing well. We are really enjoying our little man and all the changes he brings!!

So glad you've decided to blog! This will help us get to know the little guy a little better, even though we are far apart. We're so happy for you all! Heather will have to take her laptop to grandma's to show it to her. She'd love to see this! Love you guys!!

PS. I'm officially putting a link on our blog to yours. Hope you don't mind.
